It has been a privilege to attend the African Union/SADC – Great Green Wall Initiative (GGWI) Expert Workshop in preparation for the coming United Nations Convection to Combat Desertification UNCCD COP15.

The Great Green Wall is an African-led initiative to grow an 8,000 km new ‘World Wonder’ across the continent to combat climate change, halt desertification and change lives.
