We are happy to announce the launch of a new Kisiki Hai project that targets a young generation through trainings in schools, the project will be implemented together with our great partners Awaken Trees and Justdiggit
The Kisiki Hai for Schools (KH4S) Project will be implemented from September 2022 and will focus on imparting FMNR (Kisiki Hai) knowledge to teachers and school children of both Primary and Secondary Schools. The Project will be implemented in 35 schools which spreads in 9 districts of Central and Northern Tanzania and is expected to reach more than 1,200 school children.
Two books have been developed, one is in comic format for young children from nursery school to standard three, and one is for standard four children to hospitalharrywilliams.org secondary school students. The books were officially launched on 3rd September 2022 in a launching event that also included a training workshop to school teachers to equip them with FMNR / Kisiki Hai knowledge and provide them with guidelines on how to form and run Kisiki Hai clubs successfully. Teachers who attended the launching event will be responsible in disseminating the knowledge to the whole school community, forming the Kisiki Hai clubs and overseeing the clubs’ activities
